The rules for the Carbon Poker Bad Beat are very slightly more lenient than Party Pokers'. To win the jackpot at Party Poker you must have four of a kind eights or better; with the Carbon Poker Bad Beat Jackpot you can have four of a kind sevens or better. This might not seem like much but when you have four of a kind sevens at Party Poker you will be wishing that you were at Carbon Poker.

Much like basically every other Bad Beat Jackpot, 50 cents is taken from every hand and added to the pot. If a player who has four of a kind sevens or better and gets beaten, the jackpot is distributed among the table.

Distribution for Carbon Poker's Bad Beat Jackpot is basically in-line with every other one. 20% of the pot goes towards the next one to keep it at a decent amount, 10% goes to the administrators, 35% goes to the loser, 17.5% goes to the winner, and the other 17.5% is split up among everyone else who was involved in the hand.  This works like most other poker networks. They take some of it so they have more reason to use it, some goes towards the next pot so people still want to win it, and the rest is given out to those involved.

Most of the conditions to win the Carbon Poker Bad Beat Jackpot are pretty standard:

The losing hand must be at least a Four of a Kind 7's or better. This also means the winning hand must be Four of a Kind 8's, at least. Both hands must include both hole cards. Again pretty basic but this means you can't both mostly rely on what's out on the table and get straight flushes using four of the five cards.  Four players must see a flop in the hand to get the jackpot; again pretty reasonable but be careful not to bet too many players out.

If for some reason the hand didn't bring in the $0.50 from each player toward the pot, it can't be won.  There must be at least two players active all the way to the showdown, pretty straightforward.  If anyone reveals their hands or anything about their hands, they will be disqualified from the jackpot; so no cheating or attempts at collusion.

It could happen that two hands win the pot at exactly the first time, however unlikely. In this case, whichever one started first is awarded the jackpot whereas the second is eligible for the next jackpot.  If more than one hand is eligible for getting the Carbon Poker Bad Beat Jackpot, the best hand is the winning hand and the second hand is the Bad Beat. This would be extremely rare but is mathematically possible.
